Back to overview

Unexpected problems in the crop are sometimes caused by the purity of fertilisers (excessive sodium or heavy metals).

Fertiliser producers have introduced a range of new fertilisers in recent years, such as low-sodium fertilisers and various organic products. There are also a number of new producers in the market. Before you switch to a new fertiliser or another supplier, consider having the purity and composition of the new fertiliser analysed; impurities in fertilisers can cause all kinds of problems in the crop.

Similarly if you are a fertiliser producer you may wish to test your fertiliser with an external laboratory. We are the approved laboratory for the Agricultural Lime Association (ALA) run by KIWA for limestone testing.
