Relative susceptibility

Relative susceptibility is a rating of the degree of resistance of a variety to a particular nematode. The relative susceptibility is determined by comparing the multiplication of the variety in question with the multiplication of a reference crop. The reference crop is fully susceptible and gives a multiplication of 100%. For example, if a partially resistant variety has a relative susceptibility of 10%, its multiplication will be one-tenth compared to multiplication on a susceptible crop.
